Home equity Loan & HeLoC Compliance
Paul Black, Julie Sloan, Samantha Rogers, Brian McGuire, Gene Ansley, Jason Sanford, Jeffe Herrick and Tony Webb all attended
this class, which was a refresher course on compliance rules for both home equity loans and lines of credit. The course is
designed to ensure that bank employees gather and maintain the appropriate disclosures and documentation for loan files.
Commercial and Consumer Loan Documentation
Sally Dixon attended this Community Bankers Association of Georgia class, which covered the necessary documents to ensure that lenders
are using due diligence in loan documentation and disclosures in order to meet audit standards, and adhering to lending guidelines.
TBB Connect
Hillary Coy, Kellie Pressnall, Kristin Phillips, Amanda Coy and Sally Dixon attended a class on The Bankers Bank's new online program
called TBB Connect, which is used to perform activities such as cash orders, check adjustments, ACH originations and wire transfers.
SOUNDNESS
Cunderstanding Medallion & Signature Guarantees
Julie Sloan, Hillary Coy, Samantha Rogers, Kellie Pressnall, Brian McGuire and Ryan Hammack attended this class, which is designed to ensure
compliance with the use of the medallion stamp for transfer of stock ownership or investments.
Analyzing Cash Flow in Commercial Lending
Brian McGuire, Dana Tigner, Gene Ansley, Jason Sanford, Jeffe Herrick, Samantha Rogers, Paul Black, Ryan Hammack and Tony Webb
attended this refresher class on how to properly calculate cash flow for businesses in order to make a sound decision regarding whether a
potential commercial loan customer can handle taking on new or additional debt.
Accounting for Loan and Lease Losses
Leslie Green, Tony Webb, Jimmy Walker, Jason Sanford, Dana Tigner, Jeffe Herrick, Hillary Coy and Kellie Pressnall attended this
class, designed to brief bankers on banking regulators' recent sweeping changes in the 2006 Accounting for Loan and Lease Losses
(ALLL) Policy Statement. Regulators now expect financial institutions to adhere to the following requirements:
- Document and implement consistent and defensible policies and procedures for estimating the ALLL
- Examiners will no longer accept the loss benchmarks currently used by many institutions
- Management and the board of directors will now have to deal with many different levels of responsibilities related to ALLL
- Management will now be held accountable for estimating the ALLL and the examiners will be closely reviewing how well
management documented the judgment they exercised in the ALLL estimation process.

Tri The Parks Triathlon Race Series
North Atlanta National Bank is once again sponsoring the Tri the Parks Triathlon Race Series, it's 2nd consecutive year of sponsorship.
The 2007 series marks the 7th season of the only multi-race triathlon series in the state.
This year the series will include six triathlons (each made up of three events - swimming, biking and running), three duathlons
(which consist of three legs: running, biking, and running again), and two aquathlons (which also consist of three legs: running,
swimming, and running) held between April and August at state parks in Georgia.
The 2007 schedule includes the following dates and locations:
April 28 - John Tanner State Park
May 12 - Fort Yargo State Park
June 2 - Richard B. Russell State Park
June 23 - Indian Springs State Park
July 28 - Mistletoe State Park
Aug. 18 - High Falls State Park

Last year more than 2,500 multi-sport athletes from Georgia, the southeast and beyond competed in series events. More than 80% of
those participants reside in the metro Atlanta area, with most of the locations only about one hour from Atlanta. NANB CEO Jimmy
Walker has competed in several races each year of the series and will continue his participation in 2007.
North Point Prep Teacher Appreciation Luncheon
In February, North Atlanta National Bank provided lunch for all the teachers at North Point Prep to celebrate the finale of Teacher
Appreciation Week. The teachers were grateful for a wonderful conclusion to a week's worth of festivities in their honor.
