Radio Program Boosts NANB's Money Market Campaign
Not long after North Atlanta National Bank in February mailed out
a flier to local prospects advertising a very favorable 6% promotional
rate on money market accounts, the Bank got an out-of-the-blue
boost to its money market campaign.
WSB Radio's Mike Kavanagh, host of the Sunday morning "Money
Matters" program, mentioned NANB's great rate on his show in late
February and urged his listeners to take advantage of it. Kavanagh
is a veteran broadcaster, Certified Financial Planner, award-winning
journalist and author of financial planning and investing books.
His plug for NANB's money market account paid dividends, as CEO
Jimmy Walker reported that the Bank received a number of inquiries
about its accounts and opened several new money market accounts
in the days following the broadcast.
