Local Bank Joins in Community Banking Month Celebration

ALPHARETTA, Ga, March 24 /North Atlanta National Bank/ -- Governor Sony Perdue has proclaimed April as Community Banking Month andAlpharetta's North Atlanta National Bank will join community bankers nationwide to celebrate the month long event. For the past ten years, community bankers across the country have made a coordinated effort to inform the public of the important economic and social contributions their banks make in their hometowns.

During Community Banking Month, North Atlanta National Bank will celebrate with a number of events. On April 4th, the bank will perform Internet Banking demonstrations all day, on the hour, every hour during working hours. National Teach Children to Save Day will be celebrated on April 10th, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the bank. All children are invited to attend. April 16th will feature a free seminar for small businesses in North Fulton. Mr. Walker will lead the discussion on business loans and what banks look for when making lending decisions. On April 25th the bank honors its customers and the community at its Customer and Community Appreciation Day. Attendees will have the opportunity to enter a drawing to go into a "money machine" and collect as much money as they can in a limited period of time.
